The Rockford Fosgate P3S 10″ shallow mount subwoofer delivers Punch, even in depth limited situations. Rockford Fosgate understands all vehicles are not the same, because some cannot accommodate deep subwoofers. In the past, that meant no Bass. Not anymore! Now even depth challenged vehicles can have REAL Bass and the Dual Voice Coil allow configurations for every application. Shallow woofers are specifically designed for spaces where a traditional woofer cannot be used.

Rockford Fosgate P3S 10" shallow mount subwoofer delivers “Punch” even when depth is limited. The P3S features Dual voice coils for wiring flexibility and 300 Watts RMS power handling.
CEA-2031
Power handling on Rockford Fosgate speakers conform to CEA-2031 industry standards. This means your speaker has the capacity to handle power under continuous damand, not instantaneous power handling, that over time, can damage voice coils.
Klippel Verified
Klippel is a speaker certification program allowing us to deliver the best possible subwoofers.
To adorn the ‘Verified with Klippel’ mark, the qualifying company’s loudspeaker engineering personnel must be trained and certified by Klippel prior to using the three separate Klippel systems to design, develop and test: - Klippel DA-2 (Designed) - Klippel PM-8 (Developed) - Klippel QC (Tested) Rockford Fosgate has made the investment in Klippel to deliver the best possible subwoofers to our customers.
Stitched Tinsel Leads.
Improved reliability and performance by reducing fatigue and possible shorting.
Multipoint "periodic" stitched lead wire technique reduces the mass of each tinsel lead and spreads stress and strain over a greater area, significantly improving the reliability and performance of the subwoofer.
These stitched tinsel leads withstand extreme duty cycles, fatigue and high current that is critical to robust design.
Anodized Aluminum Voice Coil Former
Rockford Fosgate subwoofers use anodized aluminum voice coil formers that provide superior heat dissipation (up to 100° at full power levels). Unlike traditional plastic substitutions, aluminum acts like a heat-sink to quickly dissipate thermal build-up on the voice coil. This keeps subwoofers cool during high SPL conditions.
Two things generally happen when voice coils heat-up.
They can generate heat close to the melt-down temp of their adhesive bonds which leads to eventual failure.
Voice coil dc resistance increases and reduces SPL output.
Solution... Rockford Fosgate subwoofers use aluminum formers or voice coils for their excellent heat dissipation and SPL capabilities unlike many other plastic substitutes.
