For the walls, we are using 4 x 8″ 2-way In-wall for Front and Rear, and the Twin 5″ 2-way LCR In-Wall Speaker for Center.  We are using 4 of the matching 8″ 2-way speaker for the ceiling.  By using the same speakers, the sound tone and volume won’t differ no matter which speaker the sound is coming from.

In the ceiling, we recommend speakers that have angle mounting, because front and rear in-ceiling speakers are mounted 45 and 135 Degree from where you sit, and this puts you outside a speakers axis for all the frequencies they produce.  These Dynaudio speakers offer angle adjust ability to aim the speaker where you want the sound to go, and puts you in the sweet spot and back on axis to the speaker, giving you all the detail that these speakers can deliver.  Using an 8″ woofer, they will produce low bass and have good power handling, so whatever sound is in the movie you are watching, all the sound will come from the speakers location, not just the mid and high.

This system can Stream music off your phone, tablet, PC, USB etc all wireless over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.  In-Built Spotify, Tidal, internet radio and other streaming gives you plenty of choice in what music you can play.  This System also falls into the MusicCast range of products, so if you decide you want to expand even further, you can add any thing from the MusicCast range and link them to play the same thing or something different.  What’s really cool about MusicCast is they have the ability to stream any connected source that’s currently playing to any other MusicCast speaker.  If you have Foxtel Music playing, this can be streamed to other areas, which many other multi-room systems can’t offer.

The Yamaha RX-A6A uses a 11ch processor, but it only has 9ch of internal amplification, so there is the option to add a 2-channel power amp to get the full 11 channels this amplifier is capable of producing.
